FAQ When deciding to sell a property

1. What are my first steps to selling my home?

The first thing to do is book a free valuation of your home from a member of our sales team, either Anaeleigh or Pauline. They will advise of what they believe the property would make if placed on the current market.

2. What is your number 1 tip for getting my home ready to sell?

Our main piece of advice is to declutter. De-personalise your home as much as possible. This allows for potential buyers to be able to envision themselves living in the house and where their belongings would fit in.

3. Which websites will my property appear on?

We have done a lot of research as to which websites work best, and we have narrowed it down to PropertyPal. The other portals have become irrelevant in this area, we know as we have tried them all to offer the best service to our clients. We also advertise widely on social media, including Facebook & Instagram. We get a great response from both of these. Your property will also appear on our own website www.locateestateagents.com

4. How long will it take to sell my house?

If your house is put on the market at a realistic price, then we see no reason why it shouldn't be sale agreed within a few weeks max!

5. How can I make my property stand out on the internet?

Your photos are the main thing that will make your home stand out among the rest!! Take a look at some of our photos online, they speak for themselves! We use a very high quality camera which we believe really help in the selling process.

6. What makes 'Locate' different from other agents?

Although we still go by the usual business model like all the other high street agents, we are also offering a new and modern approach when selling your home. Our social media presence is like no other in this area. We also keep a data base of clients details and email every new property to this database when it is taken on the market, so your property is directly reaching potential buyers before it ever hits the internet!
